“Beninese youth still aren’t ready to take the initiative”

SYTO – BENIN is celebrating 10 years of service to Beninese youth. In the past 10 years, thanks to international opportunities, we have seen the personal and professional development of Beninese youth. At the same time as furthering their education, these youths have opened their minds and broadened their horizons through intercultural exchange.

The same goes for the Agriculture and Environment program. These two programs are being conducted between Quebec and Benin from August 2008 to March 2009 (i.e. 7 months, with a group of Canadians travelling to Benin and a group of Beninese youth travelling to Quebec in return. From July to December 2008 a similar exchange program between Mali and Benin will take place.

Thanks to SYTO/BENIN these centres have also received donations of pharmaceutical products.
